5.2 Ensuring Immediate Safety

If you have immediate worries that a child or young person is in danger you should call 999. Any action taken should ensure that no child is left in immediate danger. Following this or if Police are not required then call Sefton’s Integrated Front Door for an immediate referral followed by a MARF.

The law empowers anyone who has care of a child to do all that is reasonable in the circumstances to safeguard her/his welfare.
